What I Tell Every Family
- • Book a resort with a pool and kids' club -- it buys you a couple of hours to actually relax.
- • Stay in South Goa for quieter, safer beaches -- this is non-negotiable if you have kids under 8.
- • Pack more sunscreen than you think you need. The Goa sun is brutal, and local pharmacies charge a premium for imported brands.
- • Keep your family away from the Baga-Calangute party strip. It's loud, crowded, and not kid-appropriate after dark.
- • Come between November and February. The weather is perfect, and you'll actually want to be outside all day with the kids.
