3-Day Goa Itinerary

Short trip? No problem. Here's how to make 3 days feel like a proper vacation.

The Game Plan

Duration

3 Days / 2 Nights

Best For

Weekend trips, First-timers

Budget

₹10,000 - ₹30,000 per person

Three days means North Goa only — and that's fine. You'll hit the best beaches, see the heritage sites, eat incredible food, and have at least one legendary night out. Don't try to squeeze in South Goa — save that for next time. Not sure how to get here? Check my guide on how to reach Goa — flights, trains, and buses compared.

1

Day 1: Land, Beach, Party

  • Morning: Arrive, drop bags at your hotel in North Goa. Grab a late breakfast at a beach shack.
  • Afternoon: Hit Baga Beach. Try parasailing if you're feeling it, or just grab a sunbed and a beer.
  • Evening: Sunset from the beach, then dinner at a shack — fish curry rice, obviously.
  • Night: Tito's Lane. Start at Cafe Mambos, end at Tito's. Classic first-night-in-Goa move.
2

Day 2: Culture, Cliffs, Sunset

  • Morning: Old Goa churches — Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral. Take an hour, it's worth it.
  • Afternoon: Rent a scooter, ride to Anjuna. Walk the beach, browse the market if it's Wednesday.
  • Evening: Chapora Fort for THE sunset. Then dinner at Thalassa — book ahead, trust me.
  • Night: Curlies beach party or Club Cubana if you want something more upscale.

Day 3: Soak It In

  • Morning: Sleep in. You earned it. Then a proper Goan breakfast — poi bread and chai.
  • Afternoon: Last beach session or souvenir shopping. Pick up cashews and feni as gifts.
  • Evening: Head to the airport with sand still between your toes. Start planning the 5-day trip.
